Pumpkin French Toast Casserole
 This is basically my lazy, casual rendition of French toast, with less work. This recipe is about using what you have on hand or things that you may have no other use for or are about to get up and leave you. The original Recipe is from Vegan Brunch by Isa, amazing book and worth your hard earned money. This recipe is great for when you have some stale or dry bread that is past it's prime. Because this recipe is the my lazy vegan version, you can use any old bread or an assortment of breads. No matter how old, dry, stale, hard, broken or decrepit it is, because instead of perfect slices our bread is going to be cubed, torn and shredded. I also made sure to save and add all the bread crumbs I had laying around, so dump out those bags and scrap your cutting boards! Waste not, want not. This recipe is all about using what you already have, so experiment and substitute to suit your needs. If you don't have pumpkin try squash, banana, fruit compote, sweet potato, apple sauce. Grapefruit and Oranges!
My dad recently brought down a crate of each, and divided them up between my brother and I. Aside from just eating them straight up or juicing them, what can I do with all this grapefruit?! (and oranges)? Any ideas tips etc? |

 Try something different. This is a ten minute film of one of the showcases Lynda sings on Second Life at the Purple Rose Theatre, which differ from her normal gigs, as everything here she has helped create. She chooses her material and then in her director role works out what the sets should be and what they involve, then Caya - who built the entire building you’ll see - designs all the sets, and they practice the movement, the costume changes and how the interaction with the sets will work, as well as her singing, controlling her avatar while she’s singing. There’s also moments when you’ll see Lynda’s mate Cani appearing in a couple of songs. They’re the only people doing this in SL, and it provides interesting glimpses of what’s in their 90 minute show. Different costumes, sets and backgrounds per song, constantly evolving through the whole show. It’s just a shame it doesn’t include when she becomes a spectre during ‘Wuthering Heights’ as that’s pretty spooky. Community Update
Hi Friends, Those of you who have been active in the community over the last few months are familiar with the rise in spam and off-topic posts that we've been seeing lately, as well as the disappearance of our local mods. Several of us had brought these issues to the attention of the LJ staff, who recently contacted me to act as moderator while our founders are away. I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop on the proceedings here - I don't intend to change the way the community is run in any way.
